Jayne’s story
into design 👀
I’ve always been curious about human behavior—of myself and of those around me. Seeing patterns in different contexts, I chose to study Architecture at the University of Michigan and I loved seeing how good design brings people together and builds community.
I also explored the Design and Entrepreneurship discipline and realized that all of my critical thinking involved helping people through designing and innovating to ultimately solve their needs.
Along the way, I stumbled across user experience design in the digital world through an internship at Shinola, B2C eCommerce. Collaborating with innovative thinking teams helped me overcome constraints and challenged me to reframe my critical thinking towards product-thinking from both users' and business perspectives.
Looking forward, I want the design to be a thoughtful tool to create long-term solutions. Currently at Adobe as a UX/UI/CX Consultant, always looking for an opportunity to grow further and ask “why” with creative people to explore what is possible!
